I have a wonderful cute and very intellegent NZ called Lily. She's the best thing that ever happened to me! She's a house rabbit and loves to watch television with us. She's changed our lives for the better! I'd never have any other kind of pet now! she's a little houndini and she knows what she wants!

i got a new new zealand rabbit yesterday and absolutely love it. my dog on the other hand does not like having a white fuzzy thing like her roaming around. we asked her if there was a new white thing in the house and she just layed her head down and moaned, which means i don't want to talk about it. but i think she will warm up to it (^_^)

We have raised New Zealands for five years. Our children show them at the county fair each year. Last summer we lost the first two we started with. Our doe, Fluffy was nearly 40 pounds when she died. She got longer and bigger with each pregnancy. She was not over weight, just big. She was our best doe and we really miss her. We also lost our favorite buck at that time, Taz. He was a great buck. Both of them were very sweet, loving bunnies. Though they are gone, we have some of their offspring as well as some newly acquired bunnies that we just love. Hairy is one of our favorites. He is a big, cuddly buck. I also have a black New Zealand that we acquired in a strange way. Last year at the county fair, they had some little bunnies in the children's petting zoo. They sold them once the fair was over. We were told that he was a dwarf rabbit of some kind, but no one new exactly what. Well let me tell, he got bigger, and bigger, and bigger. This year at the fair we asked the "rabbit experts" (the judge and 4H rabbit leader) what he might be and they said he was a black new zealand. We just love him. His name is Mocha. Have fun with your bunnies.

Hi there. I have 2 white female new zealand rabiits. Babs and Fluffy =) They have great personalities and are just the sweetest animals. I also had a grey Netherland dwarf called Bunny that somehow managed to breed with one of my girls. Lets just say that the babies were incredibly adorable! I'm glad the babies survived cos my drawf rabbit just recently passed away. I was really happy to have a baby bunny that pretty much looked like my dwarf... only bigger =D

This site is great, tons of great info.
