Kathi - 2005-03-12 We got a Holland Lop eared bunny about 6 months ago. It is the first experience we have had with any kind of bunny. His name is Spice and has certainly spiced up our lives and our 1 dog and 3 cats lives. Since we have only 1 inside kitty, Spice has become most familiar with him and also the dog, a Shelty. We have a darling picture of Spice and the kitty, wish I could send it. They are laying together and the cat has his arm around Spice. Today it is so nice outside I let Spice out in the yard to run around. (Not the first time, but this time with the most freedom) He loved it! He chased the outside cats, it was hilarious! He went under our deck where our cats hang out and I was a little worried, but we loosened a board and found him laying in a dug out hole (cool spot) with one of the cats!
unknown - 2005-03-02 I have been breeding Holland Lops for some time now, and I think that they are one of the nicest types of rabbits to get. I have got six of them right now, two of them that are going to have babies soon, and they are just too sweet!
Jessa - 2005-02-28 Baxter (my big, tough, Holland Lop) is 5 &1/2 yrs old, had him since he was 6 wks old. I have moved this rabbit to 4 states in the past 5 years, and he still seems to love me!! **whew** I saved him from our apartment fire last year, I would do anything for this rabbit!! Nothing can keep me away from my Holland Lop!! The best pet I have ever had!!
Katelyn - 2005-02-27 They are cute and lovable pets. These are very easy to care for, for a 9 year old. My holland lop eats alot for a small rabbit. I would have alot more holland lops if my parents would let me. -katelyn
Anonymous - 2005-02-22 I had a holland lop, she was my favorite pet. She was very affectionate, and was always licking me. I think these pets have a few serious health concerns. First make sure you spay your female before reaching the age of 2, otherwise she can develop cancer- very quickly. Also make sure you test her for e_cunniculi every year, and have the vet give her a yearly antibiotic (not penicillin). If your vet disagrees with this, he is not a rabbit savvy vet! Also see House Rabbit Society- and enjoy your bunny for a long time.
Krista Cudmore - 2005-02-21 I had a beautiful sandy-colored male holland lop named Daisy. Daisy just passed away last week from peratinitis, and I miss him so much. He was only 5 1/2 years old and he was the sweetest little boy. I had him litter trained and he would hop around inside our home almost every night. I am thinking on getting another lop soon. I would recommend a holland lop to anyone, because they make wonderful pets. Krista

honey - 2005-02-15 Holland lops are so cute. I did have two of them about 2 years ago. one day i went to the petstore and they had just got a bunch of babies in. I thought they were all rex but behing them all were two gray little babies. they were small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. We took them to the vet and the vet said that they were to young to leave the mom and we quickly found out about a week later they both passed away they were so cute!=( But now I own 3 Holland lops and they are all very healthy!! sincerly honey!!
