Help my best friend just lost her long haired chihuahua that looked almost just like the one pictured she weighed 2 and 1/2 lbs prayed with her front paws and got along with her other chihuahua called aunt bee. She is devastaed a careless driver hit her on NEW Years EVE.I rescued this adorable puppy from a family with very young children that kept dragging this helpless beautiful dog around on a chain dropping her on her head ect.I new the minute they offered it would not be for me I have 2 male Italian Greyhounds I took her to my best friend who wanted one so badly @ I Knew would treat her in the way she should have been treated their bond was so deep That we cannot even console her to her she has lost her baby. Help me find one like the picture PLEASE, I know with all the animal angels here someone will help christiemole@bellsouth.net We live in Jacksonville Florida

I had a shetland sheepdog and she was so wonderful! She could bring a smile to anyones face, that's what I love about her. Most of the stories I hear about shelties is that they are so playful but mine is actually really calm. Her favorite time of the year was winter because she got to play in the snow. :) Whenever I saw her, her face was covered in snow. The sad thing is that 2 days ago she died. I'm not sure what happened to her but she is no longer with us. I will never forget her, she meant everthing to me. I am hoping that soon I can either get another sheltie or an astralian shepherd

We have a Queensland Heeler, Mally. She is the best dog. She is now 10 years old and having hip problems, hearing problems, and vision problems. She has always been so active and loved to play ball, ALL DAY LONG. She has just worn out her hips. She has always been very loyal to our family and we have never had a problem with her. She is very smart and has learned very quick. She has loved to go bird hunting with my husband and retrieved his birds for him. We are sad as she is aging and getting to were she cannot get around. We will miss her, because she has been one of the best dogs that we have ever had. I would get another one in a heart beat. If you are questioning on whether to get one - they are great dogs. Just very active and need room to run.

I have a long haired Chihuahua that I actually just got yesterday. He is extremely sweet and very cute. He is 3 months old and even though I just got him, I am madly in love with him already. Now I also have a Cocker Spaniel, and when he was introduced to my Cocker he acted a little scared. Is this common for a Chihuahua because every time the Cocker came anywhere near him he would run.

Your Puppy may have Demedex, it's a form of mange that is genetic and can be very tough to get rid of. My pitbull terrier had it and it was terrible!
My vet here in the USA actually told me to use Promeris flea treatment which studies had found had a side effect of curing the demedex. It goes on once a month on the back of the neck like Frontline and it cured my dogs problem.

I have a 2.5 month ACD little girl named Fly. She is the smartest dog I have ever known. In two weeks she has learned to be house broke, sit, lie down, high five, crawl, and sit up. She does have a lot of energy, but has learned faster then any dog I've ever met.

I just got a beagle. She is 8 mounths and already im pulling my hair out. But it is okay because I love and would let no harm come to this very dog. I recommend a beagle if they want to have fun, have kids. They are really goood with kids. Also if you want a good dog, these dogs are very pertective. My beagle will not even let me walk in my son's room, she would sit outside of the door. I LOVE MY DOG!
