I have a Jaguar (not sure if it's male or female) that I've had for about months. He/she is about 8' long. As of yesterday, he's been laying on the bottom in a little pit he dug out next to a rock. I dont see any signs of sickness or anything. He still has spunk when it's time to eat or someone swims by. Any ideas on what he/she could be doing?

My dad has a midas/green terror cichlid. It is in a 60 gallon with some other fish. It's really vicious. He is only a juvenile and has killed a buttikofery we had, a blue dragon, and well, it was a mistake that we put in a chinese catfish. Needless to say, they are very aggressive fish that need their own space.

I have an English Spot rabbit because we found him in a park nibbling at some grass. He had owners before us but they didn't want him (I don't know how it's possible not to want my bunny!) and they had him litter trained for us. I have learned lots from my rabbit and I have studied English Spots so ask me any questions you may have about them and their behaviours, what they eat, etc. Reply with any questions you may have or stories about your rabbit or small habits your rabbit might have (I like learning new things so I can take care of my rabbit better). With the egg spots I'd say female, but shape of fin says male.

I think it's a female. Only 2 egg spots..I think males have more. Could be wrong tho. But that's what I think.

I've had fish my whole life, but this is new. I just got two 3 inch red devils and two 3 inch texas cichlids. Well the devils don't get along with eah other and the tex don't get along with each other. My smaller devil and larger tex seem to have paired off and vise versa. I think it's kinda cool. A friend had a devil and a convict that paired off and bred so it'll be interesting to see what happens with the 2 devil tex pairs I have.

Just maybe the gecko plus all the other things like a tank, food, decorations can cost quite a bit. Is it possible for you to save up enough money that you could purchase the gecko plus tank etc. That would show your mom how responsible you can be and would be with a gecko and she just might have a change of mind. It is worth asking.

I have a flowerhorn that I bought about 3 months ago. He was about the size of a quarter when I bought him, and now he's about 7 inches long from mouth to tail. I honestly knew nothing about flowerhorns when I bought him, but I'm concerned about how fast he's growing. How long does it take for them to reach 'full size'? Will he be 14 inches in another 3 months? Am I over-feeding him?

He's in a community cichlid tank. I feed them a combination of dried flakes, granules and some dried shrimp -- all Tetra brand. The shrimp is mainly because he's such a little piggy that he would suck down most of the food and still be hungry -- then get aggressive. (He's the only one big enough to eat the shrimp.) I feed the tank 2 times a day and all the food I put in is gone in under a minute.

proper feeding and water change..do not over feed..just 2-3 times daily..maybe it would take another 6-12 months to reach his adult size
