"I had a red tail barb for almost nine years, he was 8 inches long, and he died yesterday. Unfortunately I assumed it was old age, but two cichlids in the tank died shortly thereafter, one covered in what I think is anchor worms. It sort of hit the tank out of nowhere, the tank is in my dining room highly visible we are always looking at it. I am off to the fish store to try and buy some medicine, but nothing can replace the loss of a nine year old fish. ( PS his name was Gilbert) yes we name our fish."
"Harvey"
