"I have two pair of white Ringneck doves Rick, Lucy, Fred & Ethel. Each pair has its own 15"x32" cage. They lay eggs and lay more eggs! but they don't hatch? Ethel will sit on her nest for weeks before she lays her egg, then when the egg gets here it seems she breaks it! Lucy never lays her first egg in the nest? I'll place it in the nest. She then will set it until the time her second egg comes and then she'll kick the first egg out! She will set on egg#2 for 2 to 3 weeks then give up, it's a dud. I've broken them before and at some point they were alive! Not sure what to do they're nests are lined with knitted soft bottoms? can you give me some advice"
