"Hello, I have just finished reading all the information on fish diseases and treatments and still don't know what could be wrong with my black moor. I can't tell you exactly how long I have had the fish but I will guess at about 2 years? It seems like for at least half of it, it has been swimming and resting upside down. At times I think it is dead but it contiues to live. It has a good appetite and enjoys swimming around and playing around with the other orange fancy goldfish in there (which is doing fine). I have treated the tank a few times in the last couple years for what I would describe as fungus due to the white cottony patches and I have noticed body slim as well on it. So I have just treated with the solution provided at the pet store and after seems to take it away. Just the other day I treated the tank for that reason, did a water change and repeated and did another water change yesterday and added a new carbon to filter. He seemed really happy and swam all over the place even times up right. But like usual he goes back to swimming and resting at the bottom. It's very frustrating, I would really appreciate someone being able to explain what might be wrong. I can even take pictures and send them if this might help. Thank you in advance."
