"My stepmom bought two fantails for my sister's birthday almost four years ago (four in October) and we named them Goldeen and No-nee. No-ee is all orangey-gold and has this huge tail that Goldeen used to hide under. Goldeen was about an even mixture of orange and white, and looked just like the pokemon! Sadly though, about two years ago, Goldeen got a stange disease all over her scales and tail, and ended up dying. No-nee was so sweet, it would push Goldeen up to the top of the tank when it was time to eat, because Goldeen wouldn't move much or swim around. She'd just it there and lie still. No-nee always gave her support and help but nothing anyone did helped, and Goldeen died one morning before my sister went to school. No-nee was so sad for such a long time, but we decided to wait to get another fish so my sister could recover from her loss. Thankfully No-nee didn't die, even though it had the disease too, but a milder version than Goldeen had. It grew much bigger since it had the tank to itself, doubled in size. A year and a half ago, we got Seaking for my sister. It, like Goldeen, looks just like its namesake pokemon. Today after I was cleaning the house after college, I noticed that No-nee's eyes look weird. From the side they look completely clear, and head-on, they look... vacant, or empty, like all the black pigment is gone. I think my beloved fish is going blind! Seaking is always closeby, and almost leads No-nee around the tank. I hope my disease surviving fish won't lose it's sight after the fight it put up!"
