"I have two blue and gold macaws who are bonded and they are together in a cage and they just layed 4 eggs ! There is a problem though, and that is that the male especially screams so much. They both will scream at times and it is so loud and awful. They do it all of the time, if we give them food they seem to stop but sometimes they will continue to scream. I don't see what is wrong because there is always people in the house and we always have our tv going. They obviously were happy enough and everything to have eggs, but they still scream all of the time. They won't let us near them because they have eggs too so they are not really lacking attention, because they will not take any. I just do not see what I am doing wrong, I love them so much and just want to make them happy. In their past home they were neglected and it caused the girl no never lay (which is the prime reason the lady bought them) and she also began to pluck her feathers causing her to have none now. I don't know if it is just a type of PTSD or something from the old owners, but I just really want them to have a great rest of their lives. I was also looking for extra tips from someone who has helped give birth to birdies before, because this is our first time and it was very unintentional lol. "
