I live in Michigan, near Clinton Twp. Would like to find a reasonably priced Westie, not too old, with all shots and in good health. I do have a cat, so the dog would hopefully be cat-friendly.

With regrets, my mother has learned that she is allergic to her Westie. Westie is housed trained, up to date with shots, have his records and history of his linkage. Westie is 4 years old. Willing to practically give him away.

My first Westy, Phoebe lived with my daughter in England for 17 years. Lived all over the world. A lot of time on a bicycle in France. Wonderful, and my daughter totally bereft when sh died. I have a westi too, in the USA, she is now 10 years old. I adore her beyond words. The best in the world. I want to buy my daughter in England one. Very young. She lives in the heart of herefordshire. Where can I get an inexpensive one for her please. I,m going over to England April 11 th for two months and would like to find one for my daughter Tetesa. Love Marjorie hart

These are truly the best dogs in the world. At 11 months my little guy Wally was trained enough to walk without a leash. Taking care of him has even inspired me to start my own pet supply company named after him. It is called The Wallyboy Company and can be found at wallyboypetproducts.com.

My comment is if there is anyone who would be interested in my fabulous westie to cross with your female westie.A little bit of information about billy: he is 3yrs old great with kids and billy is looking for westie to wine and dine and hopefully start a family, billy was born on a farm in shropshire and he comes from a long and healthy line of westie,s he is up to date with all his jabs. Billy lives in maghull on merseyside and he would love to meet a lovely lady westie so if you have a westie who would love to meet my billy you can email him he is looking forward to hearing from you. email:billyhughes50@yahoo.co.uk

Yes, take him to a vet to make sure everything is ok.  Puppies that age need all the nutrients that they can get and the worms will deplete that.  Better safe then sorry.

I had a Westie for 16 years. Her name was Minnie (aka Minnie pearl). She was one of the loves of my life. My best friend. She was kind and loving and gave me so much joy. Her life gave so much to me, I think of my baby every day and wonder if she knows how much i will forever miss her. They are wonderful dogs human like. I now have a cockapoo who I love with all my heart but my Minnie will always be one of my most loved friends i have ever had. Rest in peace my minnie pearl and know your mommy loves you.

I have a west highland white terrier that is after a mouse in my house! If he catches will it hurt him? Give him a disease or anything?

No! It won't hurt him! It is their nature to go after rodents! We lost our little dog, only 4, to back problems and then paralysis in his back legs - he was the most loyal, valiant, loving dog we have ever owned and looking for another Westie!
