Crystal - 2010-04-07 I just bought a mini - rex yesterday. He's only 1 month old and super sweet. He doesn't like to be picked up but once he's in my arms he's perfectly content. Very calm and curious. I love him and I'm very pleased. I named him Bently :)

shannon - 2010-04-14 Hi veronica, take her to the vet as soon as possible.
Charlotte - 2010-04-23 I would recommend bringing your Mini Rex Doe to the veterinarian. Since you just got your rabbit, it would also be wise to check with the pet store you got her from to see if they would treat her eye infection. The vet trip shouldn't cost too much, probably around 50 dollars just depending on what type of infection it is. Also, make sure to bring her soon, you don't want to risk a young rabbit's life just because of a little infection.
Meghan - 2010-04-06 I got a mini rex bunnie yesterday and I love her. I named her zoey. She is very little and loves to hop around, and she likes to be held.
Christina - 2010-03-13 I have a mini rex I was trying to get him to poss but he bit me two times I'm guessing he wants to breed, I will let him breed.

sydney hansen - 2010-03-15 Are you in 4-h.? You might want to get him some wood sticks from the pet store. He does not want to breed.
bunny foster mom - 2010-04-01 Just because a rabbit bites you does not mean it wants to breed! We have enough homeless rabbits (including mini rex's) in shelters. We don't need you producing more rabbits just because a rabbit bites you!
shannon - 2010-04-14 Hi christina my mini rex bites me too, but I don't think she wants to breed.
Brianna - 2009-09-16 I have a mini rex rabbit that I just got and I love her. But now that I have just heard about blue rabbits, and that they really do look blue, I want one because I think they may look cute and because my favorite color is blue!

lei-d girl - 2010-02-25 Rabbits are not the latest barbies or nail polish. They are animal companions that take a great deal of care and love. They are not accessories... PLEASE!
Erika - 2010-03-01 I also have two mini rex rabbits, both male one named Vinny and the other is Veigo. I think that rabbits are a companion as they are to me so I don't agree with the person saying that rabbits are not companions!
Heather - 2010-03-10 Do you know if they really have "red" mini rexes? (daughters' favortie color). Thanks! Heather .
Hopes & Dreams Rabbitry - 2009-09-29 Mini Rex are a wonderful pet. I see the last post where the girl just got a Mini Rex & now has heard about blue rabbits. Mini Rex do come in Blue. There are 17 varieties (colors) of Mini Rex with more in the works. My advice to the young lady who just got her Mini Rex. If you are just having them as pets please spay & nueter them. Don't forget about your original bunny. They are a very social rabbit & need lots of your attention. This is coming from a mother of young breeder & exhibitor. My dughter raises & shows quality rabbits & they are all played with daily. Enjoy your first one & then deciode if you have time for 2.

Diarra Starks - 2010-03-10 Yes, I just purchased a all black mini rex monday and I named her calming, because when I pet her I feel calm and warm. I love her although she hasn't gotten used to me quite yet were working on it. I too agree that mini rex are the best pets in the world.
Leah - 2010-03-02 I have had the pleasure of owning rabbits almost all of my life, but once I moved away from home at 18 and started renting, I was unable to have a rabbit due to lack of yard and space. Finally after turning 22, I decided enough is enough and started looking for local breeders. I had not yet decided on a breed. I honestly just knew when I saw the one that was ''made'' for me, I would just kinda know. Well months went by infact and I still hadn't found a bunny that I felt I could call my own. Then one day I was one my way into work and there it was, the sign I had been waiting for ''BABY BUNNIES FOR SALE ALL BREEDS!''. I called the number that evening and made a appointment the next day to go look at them. When I arrived I knew within minutes I would be leaving with a Mini Rex, for out of all the bunnies they were the sweetest and softest ;). So we bought Picasso -his name- home and he has been an amazing addiction to our family. He and my chihuahua actually get along! Long story short, I spent years without a rabbit and months searching for the perfect one for me, and Picasso answered my prayers. He is the perfect rabbit and if I had to do it again, I might have gotten 2 :)!
A sweet, cuddly nature along with a plush velvety coat makes the Mini Rex a favorite pet bunny!
