Hilda - 2010-03-04 I am looking for a young Holland lop rabbit (the one that weighs 3-5 pounds). My grandson's only wish for his upcoming birthday, is for a Holland Lop rabbit.
Please contact me if anyone knows where I might buy one. A backup choice would be the Lionhead Lop. Please contact me by email hjdavis@hotmail.com. Thank you.

ANYOMOUS - 2010-07-28 Actually, the lionhead is not a lop.

willow - 2010-05-27 My fiance just bought me the cutest little tortoise shell doe named Punkin. When I got her home she was already coming right up to me & eating out of my hands. She played with our new baby ferret. After that we curled up on the sofa w/ me & too a nap. She was relaxed & had no accidents. I want to teach her fun tricks. I already have her sitting up for treats. I'm looking forward to seeing how she gets along w/ my other rabbit, & the rest of pets! I'm sure she will!
Tyler - 2010-06-04 I am hoping to get a holland lop in a few weeks and I want to make sure his home will be suitable for him. He will be living in a hutch in a large chain linked area. He will be free to roam this area and I wanted to know if he would be able to escape through the chain link fence? All help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Emily - 2010-06-12 Rabbits burrow which means they live underground, so if the hutch is outside than yes the bunny can escape. If it is inside you do not need a large chain linked area ( which I do not really understand) because that made it sound like prison for rabbits ha-ha.

Denise Comparaz - 2010-04-25 Hi my name i'ts Denise I will like to tell you I'm training my baby this i'ts his name, i'ts very simple, just give him love, and attention. they are very friendly, they want to hear and feel your love. You go my i'ts out off the house. He never damages anything, you just say no; even to time and they hear. They're very intelligent. I put some news paper at the washroom, that's the place, and I clean it after that. So I hope you keeping you'res, bye.
Emily - 2010-05-26 Get a bunny litter box and put it in their cage you might have to buy a clip on litter box if he dumps it. Put some cat litter in it and some of his poop. Then he will start to use it. My 8 year old doe (female) is so litter box trained she go to the bath room in my cats litter box when she is out. Clean it every day so they don't sit in their poop and pee all day. They end up really liking to sit their after a while.

courtney - 2010-05-02 No....this just means that she could be digesting a certain food wrong so all you have to do is figure out what food is making it feel that way and stop feeding it that.
Emily - 2010-05-26 Your rabbit is spraying and marking his territory. It is normal for females and males to do this. Trust me it is true. I am in ABRA American Rabbit Breeder Association and breed rabbits. My little buck [male] does that all the time.
Linda - 2010-05-13 Hi! We just purchased a Holland Lop last week. We have kept him in his cage unless we are holding him. I am nervous to let him out. I'm scared I won't be able to catch him if he starts to run. When we go to get him out of his cage he tries to "hide" from us & acts as if he is scared. Is this normal?

Kenobi - 2010-05-21 All bunnies love to hop around. It might be good to just let him explore his area ( bunny safe of course) make sure there are no wires out. If frightened they can run very fast, but for the most part they just want to see their world and will hop around slowly and cautiously. If my bunnies get out and I need to get them back in a hurry, I will get on the floor and slowly move towards them. They usually think that I am coming in for kisses and I can easily pick them up.
Always be gentle and sweet to your bunny. Never let a child pet them too hard or scare them. Be calm when talking to them. You need to let them know that you are a safe place for them. Your bunny is still learning about his new home. It may take some time for him to see that you're his new mommy :)
Emily - 2010-05-26 Remember that rabbits are animals of prey, so being afraid to come out is normal. You should consider buying a rabbit leash for your rabbit. I use the cat rope leashes for my rabbits, because they don't come off. You can get one at Petsmart. If you sat in your room all day you would be super board. Think of how your rabbit feels.
stephanie - 2010-04-07 I have holland lop named Chester(Chessy), he is so sweet and he really loves to be out of his cage so he is free to explore. I am getting a second lop this weekend her name is loulou I am super excited maybe they will have babies one day! They are great pets and just need lots of love .
hollandlop! - 2010-04-06 Hey again, my bunny is Budha, sorry I spelled it wrong the first time. I just wanted to say if you are getting a holland lop bunny any time soon, make sure you are ready for it! They need tons of food and even more love! *keep their cage somewhere where people are actively around, and make sure they can hear your voice regularly!* My Budha is a sweety, and I'm sure yours will be too!
The cute Holland Lop is a delightful bunny, with adorable floppy ears!
