Angie and Ginny - 2004-01-19
My Ginny doesnt have a dramatic rescue story or an amazing future or past. She is just your common pet guinea pig, or so she seems to those who dont look closely enough. Her personality is different than that of which the vet described to me. He said that guinea pigs (or cavies) tend to live a blobby and cute existance, but he never said how they seem to know exactly how much cuddling you need and just the right way to make you laugh with their silly antics. Once when my dog ate several chocolate chip cookies, I was afraid she was going to die and ran away to my room to wallow in my misery. Then Ginny squealed at me until I took her out and cuddled and ran around until I was laughing hysterically. Guinea pigs will ultimately change your life, even if some people say they are dumb animals (not me!!!).

I have a mini rex rabbit and her name is Snoopy. She is black and white and has the softest fur! She loves to play and likes to run around in my room. Of course, its a mess afterwards, but overall, I have lots of fun with my rabbit and I recomend the mini rex to any animal lover!

I just got my second bunny i love him so much his name is ringo and hes the sweetest lil guy ever..he thinks my cat is his mom and he loves to cuddle and run on the sofa. he used to give kisses but not so much anymore. he loves people and every morning when i eat my breakfast he eats his. its soo cute all my friends just love him especially the guys. it shows how caring they really are they always watching to make sure he dont jump or fall.

hi. i got 2 guinea pigs from a girl i know. she said that they were both girls. soon after i had returned from my 1 day vacation there were four. we figured out which one was the boy and seperated them from the rest, but it was too late. 9 weeks later, after the others had found homes, there were 5 more babies. 2 of which were tiny so we had to hand raise them. they have homes now but we still keep in touch.

i noticed a comment in the main window saying that you can hold baby mice as soon as they are born. in some cases this is true but more often then not newborn baby mice that are held by peaple will be eaten by the mother i have expirenced this my self and thought i should shere my thoughts.

My college roommate and I got a Teddy Bear Hamster about 2 months ago. He has red hair and his name is Punkie Jr. because I have red hair and my nickname is Punkie. I love my hamster and spoil him rotten. I play with him every day to make sure that he knows how much he is loved. My mother says that I treat him like he is a dog and pretends that she doesnt like him, but she calls herself his grandma when she thinks nobody is listening. We bought him a little play pen and made him toys out of tissue boxes and paper cups and he loves them more than any of the toys that we bought for him. Teddy bear hamsters are the perfect pet for people of any age and I reccomend them to everyone. I LOVE MY PUNKIE JR.!!!

Russion Dwarf hamstors do not smell like other pets. The are a little nippy but if you get them young they will be your friend! They love to run so they will have to get alot of work outs! These animals should not be by a draft and should be very warm. They love to pouch food in there cheeks and store them somewerels in there cage. These hamstors love to explore so you can get atachments for there cage.
Another thing is that they love to be loved so you need time in your day to takecare of it.
