Erin Bigelow - 2020-03-24 Hi, pink toe tarantulas are a tree species. They Prefer height and plants.
KJ - 2018-09-01 I just bought my pink toe tarantula and she hasn’t been eating at all. I have tried getting my little tongs/tweezers and put the cricket near the fangs but it always runs away and tends to get agitated. This is the third day I have had him or her and she hasn’t eaten and I am worried she will die because she isn’t eating or drinking. She is a baby and she is so fun and active but aI am very worried about her. Please help. Btw I am not sure if it is a girl or a boy.

Erin Bigelow - 2020-03-24 Hi there, have u checked the humidity and temp?
Sandro - 2020-05-14 Hello, mine does the same. Try sticking a half dead cricket on to the web, make sure its stuck but still twitching your avic will find it and eat. I've noticed they get scared of the tongs sometimes. Hope this helps.

Emily - 2017-03-20 I have a pink toe and they are great beginner tarantulas. I have mine in a simple terrarium (they like to climb so taller than wide) it doesn't have any special locks or anything. The lid slides on and I place her light on top. She's never tried to escape but you do have to watch out during feedings, they jump!

Anonymous - 2018-03-10 My pink toed tarantula is fine but there are little groups of hard dots on the farthest side of the web and I think there’s mold what should I do
Isaac - 2017-01-02 My pink toe tarantula just stays in his leaves I bought for him. He won't eat and I have put the food right next to him, he spun a web once but a very small one and I accidently ripped it out trying to move his water dish. And he also won't drink water. Is he okay? He won't spin another web or move very often. Is it the temperature or humidity? I mist his cage every few days and I'm pretty sure the temp is right. Is it going to die?

Emily - 2017-03-20 Pink toe tarantulas are great for beginners. They have a mild temperament and aren't too picky. They prefer to be up high so your terrarium should be taller than it is wide. I just use a regular glass terrarium with a slide on lid. Her light weighs down the lid so it won't come off but she's never even tried to get out. Be careful when you're feeding it, they jump!
Gaby - 2016-05-20 So I've had my pink toe for about a month now, I recently moved him into a new cage about a week ago and he has not eaten, just hangs out on the glass on the sides. He also hasn't made a web yet. Is this normal?

Anonymous - 2016-12-13 I had one as well and he wouldn't eat at all but he made a Web the second day he was in his cage. It most likely just depends on how comfor table they are.
The Pink-toed Tarantula is Energetic and friendly, making it fun to keep!
