Hey my name's Ashley, and i've had my baby girl since she was three months old. She's now a year and two months, and is four feet long. She is growing like a weed! Her mommy's 11ft and her dad is 8ft so i was told she'd be done around 9ft. I don't care how big she gets because she is the nicest snake in the whole world. I don't think anything could replace my Diamond. She loves children, and goes to Petsmart with me to draw crowds. Anyone whos looking to buy a snake, i strongly recommend this kind of snake. Just make sure you find a breeder. They know their snakes, and they can tell you anything you need to know. Don't settle for any pet-store snake. If you want real quality, go to a breeder. You'll never go back.

My little brother, 12 years old, got his turantula about 2 weeks ago. It's pretty creepy. But it's calm and just about to molt. I held it for the 1st time today (i'm still a little shaky lol). And my brother picks it up ever once in a while. It gets a lot of attention. I would recommend the rosehaired Turantula as a pet if someone wanted something creepy!

I have a different experience with this: "They are, however, not affectionate and you should not choose them as a pet to share love and affection." My pet iguana, Luxor, who is 12 years old is very affectionate. He gets terribly lonely when I leave the room. He won't eat when I'm not at home. All he wants is to be held and hugged. He's very spoiled and loves me very much. So don't be saying that they are not capable of love! Luxor follows me around for goodness sakes! Of course that is his personality. Not all iguanas are like that. But many are very loving.

FYI, I have had my corn snake for 4 years now and just recently put her into a much bigger aquarium with lots of stretching room. One thing I didn't think of was the humidity. More area less humidity. Expensive lesson to learn as my ER doctor informed me to soak her once or twice a week in warm bath water to help illiminate low humidity problems and aide in shedding of their skin. Also, no need to use vitamin supplement sprays on a snake. They are one of the only species we feed correctly.
