I have a Sulphur Head Moray Eel (different coloration of a Yellow Headed Moray) and a undulate trigger fish (very aggresive), When they first entered my tank they tried to kill my resident Snowflake eel numerous times, especially the suplhur head (made the snowflake bleed many times). I eventually had to buy a new tank to put the Snowflake into. Then after a couple months, i put a decent size voliton Lionfish in the tank with them. During the FIRST Night, the eel (Nasty Nate) ripped the lionfish in half and ate everything up to his gills... A Very expensive mistake... The sulphur head will not attack the Triggerfish (Squirrel Master), in fact he will occasionally attack the eel. So, now I have what I call a Predator Tank. I throw poor little unsuspecting goldfish and mollies in there and watch them get devoured in just seconds! (The mollies give a much better fighting chance because they like salty water and are much more mobile.)

Have purchased a blue ribbon eel just two weeks ago. Have had no problems in feeding it we just offered it fresh green prawns. They sink to the bottom and it has a chance to eat them. Dan and Amy.

Zebra Morays are an easy to keep, beautiful and hardy eel. I have never had trouble feeding mine. It likes freeze dried krill, and table shrimp and scallops from the store. An excellent pet, your family and friends will love to watch.

great community eel,but is quite challenging to feed ,sometimes refusing food.they wont eat other tankmates.
i have had my zebra moray escape from a small gap in my aquarium but is still alive now (very hardy).so make sure you have a secure top on your aquarium.

Chainlink eels are one of my favoite marine pets! Its fun to feed them and its fun to watch them swim at night! They are SUPER agressive when they are in a feeding frenzy!!They do give a painful bite when they are adults but when young there bites arent very painful at all.Have lots of caves for this creature(places to hide). They will out grow a 55gal tank, but they are not fast growing.I had mine for 5 months and is the same size when i bought it(it grown a 1/2in).Chainlink eels are very peaceful when during the day and dont bother fish, unless VERY hungry! This fish is worth every penny!

OK what do you mean they are peaceful unless they are very hungry? That includes a whole lot of people, animals etc. Bite?

You may want to add that this eel is the classic "fish eater" - Has the characterisc teeth for flesh versus crushing things open
