I rescued my dog and was told he's a long hair chihuahua . If it's true, he's the biggest Chihuahua I ever saw. 15 lbs. I'm pretty sure he's a Chion. I'll post a picture.

About 5 years ago we acquired a small, mix-breed dog from a rescue organization. He was hit by a car, suffered a broken leg, and was abandoned at a vet's office. A lot of guesses were made about his genetic make-up, but the consensus is that he is a toy poodle-toy schnauzer mix. He certainly looks exactly like some of the photos I've seen of this mix. He actually gets compliments like'cutest dog ever!' when we walk him. He is one of the friendliest dogs I have ever owned, especially towards other people and their children. He is also very affectionate and energetic, a great 'alarm dog', and loves to play, even at his current age of (an estimated) ten years. Wonderful pet! Big believer in rescues!

We have a 1-year old cutie that was sold to my mother as a papillon. When she asked us to take him, I began to suspect he had chiuwawa in his blood. Today our vet agreed with me. After looking at photos of chinos, I'm now 100% sure there is more to little Bentley than just an adorable, loving little dog. While we have three other tiny Maltese miix babies, Bentley is the best cuddler and kisser. His fur is super thick and soft, and his little tongue is just as soft. He loves to play with his sister and brothers, but always checks in with us to from time to time to make sure we're okay. His only behavioral problem is aggressiveness towards dogs he doesn't know, and even some people. He's only 6 little pounds, so he's controllable, but daily walks would be better for all if we could train him out of this.

7 months ago i adopted a 10 1/2 year old chion. she was abandoned. people can be so cruel the shelter named her Apple. it may sound strange but she is the apple of my eye. she 100% housetrained. will only use a pee-pad during the night and that is quite rare. she is sweet and loving but feeding her is a whole 'nother matter. some days she will eat chicken and then refuse it. same with all other meats. doesn't like other dogs however. when she sees one, she strains on the harness, barks like mad, wags her tail yet her fur is up. not sure of the message she is sending. excellent watch dog.
