How awful for you and your dog to have to go through this for 2 years. Have you discussed the problem with Bullies in Need, the British rescue group? They are incredibly experienced with the breed and I recently read something on their website about a bullie who was saved from an almost terminal allergy problem, much as you're describing. Has to be worth a look at their site, bulliesinneed. org. uk or dropping them an email. Hope you get through this and good luck.

I adopted a 2 year old beagle from the county animal shelter, she was one of three beagles there at the time. That is a warning to all beagle owners or those interested in the breed. They are runners. Beyond that...what I found is the sweetest dog you could ever ask for. She's very good with my kids and is always two steps behind me. I highly recommend a beagle to anybody looking for a family dog. You'd be missing out if you looked else where. Just invest in a fence.

I have a long haired chihuahua that looks just like the one on this page. He is the best dog I have ever had. He doesn't bark at just anything. He is VERY protective. I can't do anything without him. He has seizures from low sugar but the vet said that was common in these breeds of dogs to just give him 1/4 tsp. honey a day. I would put his pic here but I don't know how. We recently adopted a long haired chihuahua, his name is Moses> He is 8 months old with long black hair. He weighs about 1 1/2 lbs., he is so cute! We have other dogs and he seems to be getting along well with them. He is already picking up the potty training experience. We love him already!

I have owned two chins, and both of them run thru the house the same time everynight before they lay down to go to sleep at night.
I have found their behavior is very similar to each other. Love their temperment. All around wonderful little dog.
