I've lost my lovely two dogs (female-15yrs and male-10yrs) due to old age.. now I soo sooo want to have atleast one chihuahua.. the house feels soo empty without anyone of them... Hi I'm emilee. I have a 2 year old ACD names lexi I have had her sence she was 2 months old she was supper sweet to people and dogs until she got about one 1/2 years old she is very dog aggressive now and people carful she bit one lady but the woman admitted it was her fault not my lexis so but whenever I take her to the vet or to get her nails done she pees and poos everywhere she only pees a lil when I bring new people to the house and when I say dog aggressive she almost killed my mom's small dog on more then on occasion I'm just hoping someone on here can help me

We have Ruby for 8 years and a half. She is nine now. She bit my husband on the nose and another friend on the face (more a heavy nip than a bite).she hates to be dominated or surprised.to punish her, it is better to whisper and it is easy to see she understands the message. We need to muzzle her to go to the vet. She has strictly no fear. It is impossible to wash her which does not matter since she is very clean anD does smell. Beside all that she is the best dog we everhad. Obedient, faithful, very smart and lovely with (just)us. I forgot, she hates all other animals beside our Amazon parrot.

I refused to allow my husband get a beagle for 22 years despite numerous requests. Then in a weak moment I agreed to it. He grew up with beagles. In short order I learned to love their quirky personalities. I had a golden retriever and took him through many obedience levels. When I attached a lead to our first beagle, he laid down and looked pathetic. I taught him 6 tricks in 4 days and no issues with getting him potty trained. So he was trainable. He leads nicely now I just had to remain patient and persistent. We now have 4 indoor beagles that enjoy our fenced in backyard. I wrote a book about their funny antics. They are immature so keep working with them. Look for it soon. Marlow and a Gaggle of Beagles for Me. They make us laugh every single day. Appears first in the Rabbit Hunter magazine 9/2015. Hi there, 6 months ago a white dove flew into my door. The bird is still here, the bird is the boss now. He/she is not in a cage and can come and go as she pleases. Sleeps on the kitchen cupboard, I need to know what they eat. She looks very stressed, can you help?

I have an Australian Shepherd and a Queensland Heeler Mix out of OK, USA. She was a purposely bred dog to herd cattle, be family friendly and very, very protective of her known land and home area. At 11 years old, she now has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Is this common with this mix breed? Also, what is the normal life age of this type of breed?

The average life-span for both theAustralian Cattle Dog and the Queensland Heeler is 12-15 years. And yes, congestive heart failure is a illness both breeds can be susceptible too.

About 5 years ago we acquired a small, mix-breed dog from a rescue organization. He was hit by a car, suffered a broken leg, and was abandoned at a vet's office. A lot of guesses were made about his genetic make-up, but the consensus is that he is a toy poodle-toy schnauzer mix. He certainly looks exactly like some of the photos I've seen of this mix. He actually gets compliments like'cutest dog ever!' when we walk him. He is one of the friendliest dogs I have ever owned, especially towards other people and their children. He is also very affectionate and energetic, a great 'alarm dog', and loves to play, even at his current age of (an estimated) ten years. Wonderful pet! Big believer in rescues!

I have a 16 month neutered English Bull Terrier. I've had him 4 months from his previous owners who didn't have the time for him. When I first got him he was mouthy, nipping all the time and pulling at my clothes when out walking. He's calmed down a lot now and occasionally still tries to pull my clothes out walking but becoming less frequent. However, yesterday my female friend and her partner took him on a 4 mile walk. He left her male partner alone but continuously tried pulling her lower clothing down. Any ideas?

I have had three weimarners and one.german shorthanded pointer and they was the best dogs ever and I look forward to.getting another weimarner they are loyal.friendly.and.the ones we had where national field champions and the one.we had was 13 years old and she is sense passed way so they do have some health issues but over all.very loyal pets
