Deborah DeRosa - 2010-04-10 After buying one Ruby Melon Swordplant, I ran back the next day to the same pet store and bought two more. They are indeed a beautiful plant. They form a rosette shape for the front or mid-tank area. They have leaves that may remain open, while others have leaves that stay upright. I have had these plants buried in the substrate without fertilizer for about a month and they are lovely. No leaf lose either by fish nibbling or water conditions. If you can find a dealer, get one you will be enthralled with the stripped leaves and variations in colors.
The pretty Ruby Melon Swordplants add both texture and color interest to the aquarium!
