"Hi,I was allways told that female chameleons have nothing more to do with there eggs once laid and coverd over. One of my females laid 49 eggs. She coverd the nest site as if she was a expert builder. 100% level. I moved the eggs to a incubater. I had to move the female out of cage while i did this. She would hiss and try to bite me, and for the two days she was constantly checking her nest site. This has shown me that chams do have motherly instinct. We learn some thing new every day."
