"The PROs and CONs of owning a horse: PROs: 1. Horses can live till they are over 25 years old, this makes them a wonderful friend! 2. Despite there size, horses with the right loving care and training, are very affectionate, sweet temped and loving. 3. YOU can learn so much from a horse! CONs: 1. Owning and caring for a horse takes a LOT of time and commitment. 2. Horses hooves must be shod/trimmed every 6-8 weeks by a farrier, this costs a 'bit'! 3. All horses/ponies should be fed at-least a little bit of 'hard-feed' every day even if they are being spelled or are a companion horse OR if they do or don't graze each day=MONEY! 4. Buying Tack, Brushes, Rugs etc. costs. Also beware POISONOUS-PLANTS. 5. HORSES NEED A YARD!"
