"Our first Fold, Angus, had the osteo issue, but lived just past his 18th birthday. I'm sure he was in a lot of pain the last several years, and gave up using the stairs about 3 years ago. He slept and was fed in the family room, loved to sleep on his big dog cushion in front of the fireplace on cool days and evenings. He is surely missed, even though I have two other Folds, one straight-eared. Thankfully, they don't have the osteo issue, and we hope to have them as long a time as we shared with our beloved Angus. Ottering and prairie dogging are distinct characteristics, and so sweet and funny to see. You will adore having a quiet and loving Fold in your home."
