"i'm curious, because i have an adult male pearly.. well atleast i thought he was a male, but i've discovered that apparently males lose their pearls after their first moult.. but my other pied cockatiel is a female and she lays eggs and they both sit on them and behave like a pair but can never hatch them out.. I'm so confused... is it possible that the two of them are both females and just share the motherly instinct and work together on the unfertalised eggs, or is it possible that my pearly is a male?"
