"I found a male and female at a local pet store and have had them in my 55g for a year. The male was 3 inches and showed great color even tho there wasn't other males in the tank. I would always see them schooling up with my roseline barbs. Unfortunately, I came home today and my male had died. I keep up with my tank with general maintence and haven't lost a fish out of the blue in the 2 years I've had the tank up. Has anyone else had this happen with the madagascar rainbows and what can cause it? Other fish seem to be fine. I did add 3 leopard corys a few days ago, but they are harmless. Thoughts? "
