"Green Terrors got me into keeping cichlids. I used to think they were very aggressive, but they aren't that bad. A cichlid you can easily keep with other semi-aggressive cichlids if you have a big tank. Personally I think good tankmates are convicts and Jack Dempseys. Oscars are a little too weak in my opinion. It's really too bad they grow so slow, that really disappointed me when I started with Green Terrors a while ago. And I mean really slow even if you give them a big tank and change a lot of water. Mine grew 4 inch in a year. In these same conditions my Midas grew 7 inches in 6 months. "
