"I have to laugh after. Reading about the goffins some people wrote about. The first entry by someone who says that their baby goffins won't sleep in his cage at night. I am writing  on my iPad in bed as my goffinss ,daisy ,is grinding away on her beak as she is nestled under the blankets by my side. Daisy has been my baby now for ten years. From the first day we got her from the bird. Store she screamed when we went to bed. Every 15 seconds she let out a scream. She was fine in the cage for the most part but not at night. I tried all sorts of remedies, like putting a smaller sleep cage right next to me at night. She still screamed unless I gave her my hand to sit on. Well after all failed attempts I gave n. I know it's not the healthiest thing for her sleep is very important and she is so careful not to potty on the bed, she goes on newspaper on the floor, wakes me up saying we we and I hold her over the papers to go. She is most happy w me so I have succumbed to her bad behavior. However just lately she likes to go to bed with all the rest of our asst flock in the bird room promptly but 8:30 she will sit on a high rope perch in the bird room where the other birds are sleeping and sleep therefor some time eventually calling for me to come get her, so! That's kinda a start in the right direction, only now I can't sleep without her.  Life with goffins is really interesting."
