"Can Someone help me? I have an about 6 year old carnival goldfish, he lives in a 20 Gallon Aquarium with no other inhabitants. He usually would swim around and only rest when you didn't look at him for a long time. He is a common Goldfish. We put a moss ball and suckerfish in his tank 3 or so weeks ago and he was fine until about 5 days ago when he started drifting to the bottom looking like he was dead. But when we would walk in he would sprout right back up and swim around towards us. The next few days he started moving less and less. He then started to get small red spots on his gills. I noticed that the sucker fish would be sucking on his scales while he was at the bottom. We have taken out the sucker fish because I thought it was hurting the Goldfish. He is now laying at the bottom flat breathing heavily. One side of him is completely red and there is what appears to be slime? or cotton like fungus. He hasn't eaten in about 3 days and he usually eats. Can anyone help quick?"
