"Hi I have a smallish yellow fish in a community tank in serious trouble. I do not have a first aid tank unfortunately to isolate him as no other fish are ill. It's fins have rotted off with red patches think its the red bacterial infection you write about on this website. It's horrible to see him suffering. Is it best to attempt to kill him? I will feel bad doing so but may be putting him out of his misery? Think it is too late for treatment. He can hardly move now. He has been dying for days. Thought he would be gone ages ago."
