We just got our first bunny, an American Fuzzy and Holland Lop mix. His name is Bob and he is adorable. Or, in the words of my girlfriend, "He makes my head hurt, he's so cute." He just learned how to hop into his cage and use the litter...for a treat.

o.k. I have had an american fuzzy lop myself. Her name is amy and she is so adorable! Everyday when I come home from school I take her out of her cage and then she either rolls around on her back or she will paw at me and lick me all over my face. It dependes if she is super super happy or if she is just plain happy. alyssa

I have had an american fuzzy lop in the past and just got two 6 week old american fuzzy does. Im 15 and love to show rabbits. I mostly show american fuzzy lops and jersey woolys. I also have an angora. Take my advice and start with an american fuzzy lop and not an angora- hard to take care of, but dont get me wrong I love my angora. -Rachael

I have had my american fuzzy lop for almost four years now and I absolutly ADORE him. His name is peanut and he is the most lovable pet I have ever had, and trust me I have had a lot of pets. He loves to be petted and cuddled all the time. I think anyone who is looking to get a rabbit should definately get an american fuzzy lop, they are the best.

Yesterday I bought a 6 week old broken black lop and she is the sweetest creature on earth. Her name is Pixie, she's curious cuddly and loves other rabbits! Rabbits are great pets for ANYONE!

I just got a young caramel colored fuzzy lop named BradPitt. He loved to hop around and wiggled his cute little nose. One day I woke up in the morning and saw he had passed away. I don't know what happened. He looked fine and energetic the day before. I am brokenhearted. But he gave me a cheerful week while I had him.

I have an american fuzzy of my own. I love her. Whenever i get home from school I put her little baby socks on and her little outfit and attempt to walk her. She is my first rabbit and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm showing her and hoping to get that big blue ribbon. :D

I have one fuzzy lop and am getting more breeding stock soon. I absolutely love this breed. I have had many breeds over the past ten years and the fuzzy lops are the best. They are easy going, very laid back, and love to sit in your lap and be groomed. They are alot more laid back than their close relative, the hollond lop.

Hello, I am going to get this rabbit for showing! I am so excited, I head one before and she was the nicest thing i have ever had! rebecca molnar

After reading this and other things about fuzzy lops I decided to get one. I brought her home a week before Christmas. She is a mismarked blue doe. I named her Skye. Over the months that I have had her she has shown her wonderful personality. She is sweet and loves to get her head scratched. She also doesn't seem to be afraid of my lhasa apso and they have become great friends. She is almost litter trained and as soon as she is she will have free roam over my room. To accomplish this I am getting her spayed in two weeks. They say that spaying also makes rabbits nicer. If this is true then my rabbit will be the sweetest rabbit in the world after she is spayed, because she is already great! The hardest part of keeping a fuzzy lop is their hair. Shortly after I got her she went through a molt and had a few bald spots on her flanks and her neck was bald. I get a *fuzzy* lop and it goes bald; talk about discouraging. Well, as I said before, it was only a molt and she is back to being fuzzy. They need to be brushed often to keep their coat unmatted, and it also helps prevent a medical problem called 'G.I. stasis’ which can be fatal. They are great pets and I would recommend them to anyone who will give them the attention and grooming they need.

We got a Afl 2 yrs ago for our daughter, and he's been so much fun that we just bought another. Thumper and Pixie have free reign of our house and are litter box trained. Thumper has been showing Pixie the ropes. They are getting along great and they are a lot of fun to watch. They have claimed our bedroom as theirs, where we sleep they sleep. They are great pets.

Hey. i got an american fuzzy lop about 4 months ago. His name is Thumper (after the movie bambi!!) And he is SO cute. My aunt has the same type of rabbit as me and its a female so we are going to let them have babies this summer. I cant wait. I would like to keep one of the babies so i can teach it things at a young age. Not like mine, which i got at 5months old. =S

I have two AFL's, a girl named Gwen and a boy named Dust. they are for show and breeding. my female right now is pregnant. she is 7 months and my male is about a year and a half. I have papers on both and I love them very much! I can't wait for Gwen to have her litter! Dusty comes from one of the best AFL breeders in the country so he has extremly good bloodlines.

Just got 2 male Fuzzy Lops directly from the pet store. Brothers, 6 months old. Had them for about a month. They're now starting to warm up to my 10 year old daughter--one more than the other as they're both still a little skittish. Having a hard time grooming them as they just don't like it. But we're having alot of un with them

I have a american fuzzy lop ear rabbit named fuzzkin. He loves to run around. He is only ten months old. He chews the grass that I put in the pen. The thing I put his water in he loves to dump over and pull it all over. I also have four a more pets and the third day they all knew each other. and my dog loved him so much that he did nothing as he hopped around.

I have a grey fuzzy lop. My pal is a male, and his name is Smokey. I recieved him as a pet from Scotsdale mall when they had animals once a year. Smokey has papers stating his parents and grandparents. It is very interesting. He was born December 31, 2000. He loves to take baths. He literaly falls over in my arms, and he almost falls asleep. He has never bitten or became aggressive. He is a very spoiled baby. We brush him reguarly, give him celery every day along with his daily pellets and goodies in the pellets. When its hot he gets an ice bottle and a fan. His cage is four feet long, and it is inside. We take him for walks with is harness and leash. We have never bred him. He has a huge head, and the breeder we got him from said he should be bred, and put in shows. He has a stuffed toy to play with.

We breed and raise "Fuzzies" and we enjoy them so much! They are a joy to have, but the fur can get matted easily, so needs to be brushed often. The fuzzy is definitely a breed for experienced breeders, but for a pet, they are terrific! Here at Nadika Animals, we also have Hollands and Mini Lop rabbits, but the Fuzzy beats them all for personality!

I have a Pointed White with Grey Fuzzy Lop whos around 7-8 months of age. I love the breed, they are very easy going rabbits and love attention. I got mine when she was only 4weeks old and we have accomplished alot of stuff. I have her litter trained now and she is a pro at it. She had babies in Janurary and was an excellent mother up to weaning time. She loves Binking around her pen all day and giving kisses. Shes a wonderful rabbit and my favorite out of the 6 i have. Fuzzy Lops require some grooming because they are half angora. Shes pretty good with grooming but gets very fussy when Turned over. She also loves eating greens and carrots and of course Timothy hay based pellets and Timothy hay.
