Electric Blue Jack Dempsey

The Electric Blue Jack Dempsey is one of the bluest tropical fish, and it is definitely one of the most beautiful!
An adult Electric Blue Jack Dempsey displays a magnificent blue coloration. This dazzling fish is a naturally occurring variant of the Jack Dempsey. It is said that for a long time hatched fry with this bluish coloration were consider runts and were discarded. Fortunately for those who want a spectacular cichlid this variant is being developed in captivity today. Though the Dempsey is relatively easy to breed, it does take a considerable amount of time and the right set-up, so these fish are rather rare and are expensive.

Blue Goby Cichlid

The Blue Goby Cichlid is one of the most attractive of the goby species from Lake Tanganyika!
The blue and gold spots of the Blue Goby Cichlid are eye-catching by themselves, but when you add in the blue lips this fish is extraordinary. These distinctive color marks have led to it also being called the Blue-Spotted Goby Cichlid and the Blue Lips Goby Cichlid.
These fish are comical in both appearance and in personality. They will perch on the bottom of the aquarium and swim with a ‘hopping’ motion, and are said to play ‘hide and seek’ with their keepers. A great choice for any cichlid enthusiast who has limited space and cannot provide a large aquarium. As long as their needs are met, they are easy to moderate to care for. They are a joy and a colorful addition to the aquarium.

This is a dive from the Sand Dollar boat at Santa Barbara Island off the coast of California. What a great time we had with the playful Sea Lions! Im not sure why they blow bubbles, maybe its because the divers do it and they dont wanna be left out. They seem to love playing with us and they perform all sorts of antics and games when you drop by for a visit. All-in-all they are an awesome fun loving group of peeps to be around. I’d try gauging them with the cuteness meter, but Im sure it’d break!

The Spotfin Goby Cichlid is the smallest of the goby species from Lake Tanganyika, reaching just over 2 1/2 inches in length!
The Spotfin Goby Cichlid is much lighter in color than the other gobies, adding variety to a cichlid community. They are comical in appearance and in personality. With a more pointed mouth than the other Goby cichlids, they look like they are ‘puckering up’. A great choice for any cichlid enthusiast who has limited space and cannot provide a large aquarium. As long as their needs are met, they are easy to moderate to care for. They are a joy and a colorful addition to the aquarium.
