Fozzie the Dog
Here’s what Jessi says about Fozzie: “He is the best possible dog I could ever have. He has only bitten someone once on Halloween; he thought she was trying to hurt us, so he is still the best dog ever. My opinion. He must have a gentle touch because he was in our front yard and there was a moose across the street and he walked right up to it and barked, but it left him alone. We were blessed. He tried to do that another time with a moose that was really mad, the moose almost tried to trample my friend and me so in my opinion he is the best, maybe not the smartest but the best he even lets my grandma and grandpa’s westie put his front paws on his back. When my mom’s friend’s puppy goes near him he starts to bark (when she was a puppy she bit his tail and ran). But that’s why he’s the best.”

Dr. Jungle says… “Ever wonder what a cat does in the dark? Ever wonder how humans amuse themselves when bored?”

See the Video: Tisha in the Dark
Here’s Tisha the Cat in complete darkness! The camera, a Panasonic AG-DVC30 has a special IR mode that will film in complete darkness. The camera itself shines light from a source just below the lens. This is the standard camera light source, a brighter source that can shoot subjects much farther away (15 ft. or so) can be bought as an accessory.

Dr. Jungle says… “I just want to say thanks to Vollieray at Vollieray.com! You Rock!
See the video and more photos at Animal-Image – Caribbean Blue Tang
Check out this really cool video which shows how tangs, and fish in general, travel in schools of several hundred(s) of fish. We believe this may be the Caribbean Blue tang but this is not certain. The video was taken near Roatan, Honduras so it is definetly a Caribbean Ocean fish but the Caribbean Blue tang is seldom seen in groups of more than 10 or so individuals. Although the species of fish is uncertain, it is still a great showcase for the schooling behaviour of fish.

Russian Tortoise
Provide this fellow with the right environment, and the small hardy Russian Tortoise is one of the best pet tortoises!
This tortoise has a variety of common names, most of which give some hints about it. Along with Russian Tortoise, the names Afgan Tortoise and Central Asian Tortoise describe places where it is found. Steppe Tortoise describes its natural environment as it occurs principally on sandy steppes. Four-toed Tortoise describes its rather unique quality, it is the only member of its genus Testudo having four rather than three toes (claws) on its feet.

Now, here’s a cool cute pet from last year. I’m just glad my cat (or my dog for that matter!) can’t “glide from the drapes” to get treats. These guys are the cutest and sound like loads of fun! Here’s some pet care information: Sugar Gliders
The ability to “fly” or glide when they spread out in a parachute fashion is similar to the ability of the Flying Squirrel. But other than that, they are very different animals than the Flying Squirrel.
