Dr. Jungle says… “With a name like Paradise, it’s gotta be good!”
The paradise gourami is one of the first species to be kept in aquariums in. They were among first tropical fish imported to Europe as early as the 1600s. They were first described by Carl Linnaeus which spawned the discovery of many more tropical fish at that time. The Water Milfoil is an ideal plant for many aquariums. Though they do require good light, they’re not overly particular about the composition of the water and they can withstand great fluctuations in temperature. These plants are great for spawning fish since they give the fry a place to hide.
Water Milfoil
Guess my nickname?
It’s "Foxtail". Now look closely to see if you can tell why!
