Hi,
Loved your article. Our Westie is now 14 and has had colitus most of that time.

She has only ever been able to eat Eukanuba Vetinary formula which we can only get from the vets.

She has been unwell recently and has gone off the Eukanuba altogether. She is just eating plain chicken which was all she could manage before we found the Euk.

If anyone has any experiance of this situation we would welcome advice on how much she might need.

Ha ha parrots are so much fun! I have a B&G since 1978, what a marvelous companion he has been. He thinks he’s human. The tricks he has learned and the words he does say are countless.

He escapes his cage and flys to me in bed every morning after the sun comes up. He wakes me when he lands on me somewhere. Can you guess why his name is Shadow?

I can’t remember a time when horses were not a part of my life. Even though I come from a family where no one else was interested in riding, my parents knew that they had to find some way and someone to teach me about horses. So, after several months of our neighbors complaining that there was an unruly five-year-old that kept climbing into their horses’ stalls, my parents decided it was time to get me involved with horses.

I recommend taking your turtle to a veterinarian, and the sooner the better.

It sounds like your slider may have a fungal infection, which can make turtles loose their claws. Fungal diseases are generally caused by a poor environment, diet, or a combination of those two. However, I would not simply treat your turtle for fungus as this may actually be a symptom of something much more severe.

Again, you need to get your pet to a vet for correct diagnosis and treatment, or you may risk losing it.
