I have a beutifull red female parakeet but just lately it been sqawking like mad what it will do is put its beak against its perch flap its wings and start sqawking can anybody tell why its started doing this.and what steps can I take to prevent this.

What kind of parakeet do you have? and how old is she?

Has anything changed in her environment: a move to a new room or home, new people, change in her daily pattern?

We need more background to understand why her behavior is changing.
