Hi welcome, nice rat snakes
Jen
May be the eggs the female lays this year will possibly hatch only hopeing tho.

Planning to get more snakes in the near future and possibly convert my spare room lol.

Always loved snakes since my parents had them from me being very little and my daughter never liked them till i got my snake Bev (Yellow) as she want's one herself now so she may get a Rat snake soon.

As my daughter is good with animals especially with her finches, dog, hamsters so she's proved she can look after them and she helps with cleaning/feeding of my snakes not many kids do that in teens.
the fox
Thanks about the eggs, but today the 9th egg has come, which is amazing for there first clutch.

Im always planning to get new snakes its just money is always holding me back.

Lucky you have assistant to help run your zoo!

Wow you do have some awesome pets. It's so great your daughter helps you with them too, maybe she'll become a reptile expert or a zoo keeper wink.gif

I hope you get some baby snakes too!

She's going to be doing a full time course in animal studies working with Exotics and non Exotics when she leaves school as the course will open a lot of doors for her working in pet shops or zoos.

It's what she wants to do so helping her a little with all the animals in my pet family will give her heads up over others on the course.

Animals have been a passion in my family for many years. My daughter had a similar desire, she loved animals! We did something similar and ended opening up an exotic pet store when she was 11.

It is an exciting world and can use dedicated people. I wish your daughter all the best Jen as she follows her dreams!

She's working with farm animals and when leaves school next year she's enrolling on a course working with farm animals/exotic/none exotic and to prepare her for working with spiders she's got 2 tarantula slings which are Curly Hair and Chili Flame.

And this year part of work experience will be working in a pet shop where they sell domestic & exotics from snakes to spiders.

She is learning a lot about the pets she has and what i have more of an advantage over other students next year.
