Trumpet Coral
Photo Courstesy: John Rice This is a very similar species to the candycane coral C. furcata. The trumpet usually is less colorful, has trumpet shaped polyps which are more closely packed. For pictures illustrating the difference see the Candycane coral.
Description:
Each Trumpet polyp grows on its own stalk and is usually grayish green. They frequently have the characteristic stripes running outward on the edge of each polyp. The polyps grow close together and are shaped like the horn of a trumpet. Lighting - Water flow: Difficulty of Care: Aggressiveness:
