A little about Miss Evan:
"Her full name is Miss Evan. Miss Evan does not yet have a bird mate, and so temporarily she has accepted Jack as hers. She has definitely expressed an interest in having little ones, and we hope to make this possible in the future.
"Her favorite breakfast food is peanuts. She has Rowdybush, Abba Seed, and fresh vegetables (carrots, spinach, and celery) during the day. In the evening for her main-course, she is very partial to over-easy fried egg (with little or no oil) cut up into crushed Rowdybush. On the side she likes banana and natural Smucker's Chunky peanut butter on wheat bread. She finishes her meal with corn-on-the-cobb. She sometimes prefers her corn raw.
"Vocal talents is not something Miss Evan has spent much time developing. She says hello and does a great wolf-whistle when wanting attention. She also gets attention by ruffling her feathers and proclaiming: "Whooooooo." Visitors comment that she seems very happy and very much at home visiting the other birds while on Jack's shoulder."
Dr. Jungle says, "Feelin fine and lookin great!"

Miss Evan's living quarters:
"Miss Evan lives on a 30 acre farm in Randolph County, North Carolina. Randolph County's claim to fame is that it is the location of the marvelous North Carolina Zoo. She lives in an approximately 42 feet by 30 feet insulated, heated, newly-constructed farm building. These dimensions include several porches. Miss Evan's living quarters are approximately 12 feet by 18 feet. The ceilings average 11 feet high. She has a window and (when the double doors are open)a large porch which she enjoys for about 6 months out of the year.

Meet Miss Evan's roommates:
"She shares the building with 2 Hahns macaws (Barbara
and Wimpy), 2 Green-Winged macaws (Boomer Bird and Otto Bird), and 2 Blue-Gold
Macaws
(Jessie and Junior). Each of these have their separate living quarters."
A little history about Miss Evan and her companions:
"All of these birds, except the Hahns macaws, were given to us by a kind and generous couple who live in Julian, NC. John and Pam Maget not only gave us these birds, but also help us with clipping their toenails. Fate through a chance phone conversation with a mutual friend brought the birds to their new home."
Dr. Jungle says, "Miss Evan has one of the best houses we have ever seen!"
