Anonymous - 2011-02-15 Theres a pet store in San Diego, CA called Lemon Grove Pets. It's a real dump, and their pets are obviously neglected and ordered from mills. I went to find canaries, the man told me they had several species, which meant two. He had frilled ones and regular american singers. The american singers were in poor health.. looked like they had scale growths all over their legs and they were all crammed in a smaller cage. However, the frilled ones looked healthy. Go rescue them before they die there.

Elsa - 2009-12-06 I received this lovely bird from people that can't look after him, the songs is pure and peaceful, soft. He or She is with another canary, smaller but they hatch when the egg is layed. Now the third time it breaks, I'm gonna try to add calcium powder to their drinking water. The egg is grey and round. They do get their normal seeds, canary, and then I give them breeding pap from Avian with the eggshell, but it doesn't seem to do the trick. If some-one could help me with advice I will be grateful. Thank you. I do have Vosmari Eclectus and I'm looking for a male +/- 5 years for the lady. She is lovely. Then other species also, but no problem with them.
