Charlie Roche - 2011-06-13 The Knifefish needs a minimum of a 100 gallon tank on his own. They are beautiful but they get huge and he will most likely eat the others.

spencer - 2010-11-20 I kept 5 altum angelfishes and 2 hujeta gars in a planted aquarium but now all the plants, angelfishes and gars are all dead. However, this website is tempting me to keep altums again. Love this website as it tempts you to keep a certain type of fish.

Despite its large size, up to 9", the Altum Angelfish is a pretty and peaceful cichlid!
