Opened in June 2004 is a rather unique Seattle bird shop owned by Jamie Wertz. Jamie operated The Tweetery Aviary primarily raising American and English Budgies (which most people refer to as parakeets), cockatiels, lovebirds, green cheek conures and parrotlets.
- Magnolia Bird Farm - This is a top quality bird farm, offering all types of birds and have a complete selection of bird supplies. They breed and hand feed many species as well as buy birds from breeders. They also provide bird boarding and grooming. Many of the birds featured here originated from this bird farm. Two locations in Southern California, Anaheim and Riverside.

- Parrot Haven - Located in North Carolina and developed in 1999 as part of the Rescue Operation of Parrot Fancier's Club. Their policy is that that no bird will be turned away!
