This is the most complete and accurate guide to caring for pets rats that I have ever read. It is a terrible shame that it has been allowed to go out of print. This book is a reasonable size with illustrations and pictures of mice, subjects that they talk about, and sometimes demonstrations. Examples:How to pick up an untamed mouse and how to tell the gender of your mouse.
At times there can be a little too much information, but it really does tell you everything you need to know before and after you buy a mouse in every chapter."
