Lets cut to the chase...
the books in the "Recommended Books" sections are the best books
we have found. Classics as well as the best of the new books
can be found here. We also make an effort to point out the best
books for the money and include them here.
An explanation of the different categories in the
menus above:
- Care and Feeding: Books
that contain information about environments, proper feeding,
care, and health of the pet. We also include veterinary books
in this category to help recognize health problems and recommended
treatments or veterinary care.
- Atlases: Books that
are good for identifying species. These books may or may not
contain care and feeding information. But they are great books
for identifying an unknown species.
-
Family/Species: Books
that focus on one particular family, genus, or species of
pet. The animals included are not of course all inclusive,
but they include good ones we have found.
