I just converted my freshwater 55g tank into a saltwater one. This book is a great reference book, providing lots of information on different fish, invertebrates, etc. including their aggressiveness and size. Glad I bought it!

This is a great first book for anyone looking to get into the hobby of keeping saltwater fish. It starts from the very beginning, but it doesn't get very deep. If you're looking for more you'll have to buy another book, this probably won't make you knowledgeable enough to actually KEEP marine fish.

Perfect book for starting off understand what is involved in keep a saltwater aquarium. Supplement with reading web forums and online information to get really current opinion and views but a great reference book for the starter. Buy before you buy any equipment.

My book arrived with some dents on the outside (in Aruba). It was shipped in an 'air bubble envelope'. Please ship these flexible type books (or any book) in a 'stiff carton pouche'
br /This is a 'perfect' book. I am a hobbyist since 25 years . It answers all my questions and more for start-up and maintenance.

I was looking for important information on how to start a marine aquarium and this book helped me greatly, it is very well put together and is full of practical tips a little more info about corals and mushrooms would have been nice.
