2 stars. All Good, No Bad...not necessarily good.
This book is good for the basics but it doesnt say much about the two most difficult things I'm dealing with with my baby hedgehog...nipping and litter training. I got much better advice online so if you read this and expect your hedgehog to be perfect and wear little hats in the garden as pictured in the book haha... you may want to do some more research first :) otherwise its good for basic info!

4 stars. Good, but some info is a bit outdated
Mostly this book has great information...The only major problem I have with the book is that it shows that you can use wire wheels, which are quite dangerous for hedgies. Their long legs can be trapped causing massive trauma. Things about their diet and cage setups and illness are quite helpful though.

This is a fantastic guide to purchasing a hedgehog and understanding personalities, needs and everything to make a healthy happy home with your hedgy and whether it is a good pet for you too!

Fantastic hedgehog book. It has been a great resource for me as a new hedgehog owner. The section about bonding with your hedgehog was very exciting.
